Games Cancellation

Unfortunately due to the adverse weather conditions today's games have had to be cancelled. The games arena was waterlogged this morning due to the overnight rain and the rain experienced this morning. Competitors and spectator safety is paramount in these circumstances and as such the decision to cancel was taken early in the day to enable as far as possible people not to have to travel to the event.

This decision is not taken lightly given the time and effort put into organising the event by a very small committee giving up their own time on a voluntary basis.

Dancers who submitted cheques in payment of entrance fee should be advised that the cheques will not be presented for payment.

The committee apologise to those who made the effort to travel and hope to see you next year when the British summer may be kinder to us.
